Welcome to Emily's Oceanside Cottages. We are currently accepting reservations for the season. We have six new construction units - all with gorgeous views of the Northumberland Straight in Seafoam, Nova Scotia. Every cottage has satellite television, one or two spacious bedrooms, full kitchen and bath, common room, and deck. Our property is located in Pictou County, about a 20 minute drive from Pictou and Tatamagouche, just outside of River John.
Watch the sunrise from your front deck and the sunset from your back as you listen to the waves lapping on the shore. Wander at your leisure on our 22 acres including over 700 feet of ocean front which we share with the occasional deer and bald eagle. Pick wild strawberries while walking the shore line and try to spot one of the many herds of seals chasing schools of fish off-shore. Enjoy kayaking, swim in the warmest salt waters north of the Carolinas or visit a local winery - famous for their icewine. Go on a fossil hunt, or horseback riding, hop the ferry and visit Prince Edward Island, check out a local buffalo ranch, try one of the local golf courses, or any of the many other sites within a short drive.
We are located directly on Nova Scotia's famous Sunrise Trail. Come check out our own little paradise by the ocean in a luxury cottage with all the amenities of home, and classic Maritime Canadian charm.
